Radio Interview with New Orleans Mayor
September 4, 2005 – 9:27 amThe Daily Kos discusses the federal response to the New Orleans disaster in this post. The most incredible part is the recording of an interview with the Mayor of New Orleans where he accuses the Governor and Bush of doing nothing but spinning.
From the news reports I’ve read, he’s right. For example, here’s a report about Bush’s visit to the disaster area. Apparently, it was entirely staged with the food distribution point torn down as soon as he left.
